Clips, barrets and hair bands

During the course of last six months I had learnt various methods of making rosettes out of fabric. After using them for making the usual list of earrings, brooches and packaging bows, I was itching to make something out of them, that somebody would actually use.
So I have made these little hair clips, bands for two little girls and they have turned out pretty well. Now I am ready to take orders or teach them in my classes.
Anybody interested, please drop in a line.

Statement Necklace

In an attempt to constantly update my skills esp WRT craft I do a lot of practice sessions. I experiment with known technique or material to create variations. Sometimes the end pieces come out good and find use immediately. Sometimes, even when they turn out fine, they get pushed to the back shelves because there is just no use for them. Like every other designer even I have my stack of such experimental pieces, stuff thats pretty/good in its own way and "can" be used in the future.
So I was going through one such stack and found a ribbon rosette, some old pearls strands, some dyed tigertail and bugle beads...God!! they have been lying useless for quite sometime now but still dint feel like throwing them out. I had seen a statement neck piece in Lavin which was made of similar items so I decided to experiment further and here's the result. - Personal opinion looks better than the highly expensive Lavin.
Now I just need an occasion to show it off..and off course a dress to go with it :(

Butterfly Necklace

Was going through my old Jewelry resource pages and found a new Wire wrapping tutorial. So thanks to Elizabeth Knight..here's my attempt at a non- soldered wire work necklace. Mine came out to be quite a variation from the original guide, which looked very vintage.

Technique - Wire Wrapping
Materials - Stainless steel & Aluminium wire + faux pearls
Level - quite advanced
Result- Looks decent; could have been better!!
